Sports Association - The International Blind Sports Federation
(IBSA) was founded in Paris in 1981, as a non profit-making organization.
Excellence and integration are two concepts essential to all,
but of particular significance for people with physical disabilities.
There is no doubt that sport also helps blind people, providing
them with benefits of all kinds, but above all offers sensory,
physical and sociological help which would be hard to obtain
in any other way. We therefore encourage and support any initiative
that strives towards these aims. |
